Outreach Activities
The Breast Cancer Resource Center participates in health fairs, workshops, conferences and many other community activities. We promote our services in a variety of settings, through:
- Raising awareness and promoting the importance of early detection and screening at schools, health centers, workplace presentations, workshops at community and senior centers, and other locations.
- Wellness Programs such as reiki, yoga and other techniques to reduce stress; arts and crafts workshops, health education classes, art exhibits and other life-affirming activities.
- Collaboration with medical providers and community agencies to develop working partnerships that maximize resources.
